ASAP

After School Arts at Penn connects young and aspiring creatives, performers, and artists to accomplished peers and mentors on campus.

What is After School Arts at Penn (ASAP)?

Platt House’s weekly After School Arts at Penn program, run by students and staff of Platt House at the University of Pennsylvania, is an introduction to the performing arts for students ages 10-14. Participants get to choose two areas of study – dance, acting, voice, and musical instruments – and receive mentorship and lessons from undergraduate student artists. A typical Wednesday afternoon includes icebreakers, art projects, and snacks. At least once per semester, the program will also feature a special presentation from a University performance club!

Participant registration is now open for Spring 2024!

This semester's applications are open and there is space for new participants in our program! To join us on Wednesdays after school, please apply using our Interest Form at bit.ly/apply-to-asap.

Participant registration for the semester is currently closed.

The registration cycle takes place in August/September for the Fall semester and December/January for the Spring. Stay tuned - we look forward to hearing from you then!
